We are looking for an individual with the ability to learn and operate a student information system (PowerSchool) and to coordinate activities with our high school counselors throughout the school year.  This position is responsible for sharing student records/data with other professionals upon request as well as to manage our course information setup and student data at the high school level. 

 

Key skills would include the ability to learn independently how to operate a student information system through tutorials and online resources.  Other key skills include good communication skills, the ability to work with both students and staff, they are responsive to emails and requests for information and they are organized.  

 

Job Title: District Secretary (up to 225 days/year position aligned with the academic calendar, including limited summer workdays)

 

Reports to: Principal or Director

Supervises: None

 

Position Purpose

Under the direction of the principal, to provide administrative assistance, conveying information regarding school functions and procedures; and supporting the broad array of services provided to students, parents, instructional and support employees.
